President Candidates:
Ronald Wen
Hi everyone, I am Ronald Wen, a sophomore at St. Ignatius in SF. I am currently the Vice President of the Millbrae Leos and the district secretary on the Leos 4-C4 Board. I started volunteering as part of the Leos in 7th grade, building my passion for the club event by event. I have dedicated hundreds of hours to the club, all of which I loved doing. As the VP of the Millbrae Leos, I have led and organized our prospering membership, advised over the board, and worked effortlessly to continue our future aspirations for the TREX recycling project. Being the secretary of the Leo District 4-C4 also has given me more opportunities to be involved, from taking notes, to planning more ways to increase community engagement. I am proud to be a part of such a connected community, and I plan to pursue my goals as the Leo District 4-C4 president.
Vice President Candidates:
Lauren Hong
My name is Lauren Hong and I’m currently the Vice-President of The Bay Area Leo Club and a junior at San Mateo High School! In 2021, I joined the Bay Area Leo Club as Publicity, creating an instagram account to introduce and publicize our club’s work. Over the next two years as Publicity and then Vice-president, I worked heavily with our President, Rinko, to rebuild the club, recruit members, organize new projects, and work to reach our TREX recycling project goals. In addition, I helped rebuild our website, run bi-weekly meetings, and overall just keep everything running smoothly. Some of my best Leo accomplishments these past two years have been with our TREX recycling project. We’ve achieved over 3,500 pounds of recyclable plastic, a recognition applause from the Hillsborough town hall, a recognition applause from the Burlingame town hall, and a bench which has been donated to the Burlingame Public Library. While we’ve had a strong environmental focus these past two years, we’re looking to shift and organize projects surrounding the Lions Club Pillar of cancer. I’ve had the honor of helping this club grow from the ground up and I hope to be able to extend my leadership and experience to our Leo District 4-C4 this coming year!

Treasurer Candidates:
Warren Shiu
Hi, my name is Warren Shiu, and I am a sophomore attending Mills High School. I joined the Millbrae Leos a year and a half ago and have served as budget director there as well as Leos District 4-C4's treasurer for a club year. I have found a love for serving with the club. It satisfies me to give back to the community. During the time I've had with the clubs, I have developed many leadership skills, and just have had a fun time working with my fellow Leos! Outside of the club, I play sports like water polo and swim, I also like to hang out with my friends in my free time.
